WWE RAW results 30th May, 2011

OMAHA, Neb. – Many Americans enjoy their three-day weekend barbecuing, relaxing and honoring the men and women of the U.S. military. Unfortunately for the WWE Universe, however, crazy never seems to take a holiday, and R-Truth’s been working overtime.
R-Truth def. WWE Champion John Cena by Count-out in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
R-Truth may be crazy, but he’s not stupid. After landing a non-title match against WWE Champion John Cena, the delusional Superstar made the best of it. During the bout, he slid out of the ring and traded blows with his opponent. After a good bit of cat-and-mouse, Truth made a beeline for the ring. When he hopped over a security barricade, Cena tried to follow, but Truth leveled him with a forearm to the head. The delusional Superstar then quickly slid back into the ring, and The Champ was counted out.
Truth then hopped back over the barricade and confronted a “little Jimmy” in the audience, who he had also picked on at the top of the broadcast, snatching his drink cup and splashing it on his father.
The Champ quickly came to the pair’s defense, but his conspiracy nut rival had already fled. After Raw went off the air, the anonymous Raw GM announced that Truth will receive a WWE Title Match at Capitol Punishment if, and only if, he apologizes next week on Raw.
Evan Bourne def. Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The lesson for Jack Swagger? Overconfidence kills. Last week, The All-American American undertook an egotistical victory lap after his win over Evan Bourne, and the high-flyer dropkicked him out of the ring. This week, just as it appeared Swagger could do no wrong, he did. In fact, his impudence led to a crucial mistake. Bourne quickly seized the opportunity and capitalized for the win.
Kharma revealed her pregnancy (WATCH | PHOTOS)
One week after suffering a tear-stained meltdown in the center of the ring, Kharma addressed the WWE Universe. She explained that she has had two dreams in her life, to become a WWE Superstar and to become a mother. One down, one to go. And now the braided behemoth is well on her way – she’s pregnant! After informing the crowd that she cannot compete as a result, The Bella Twins emerged and berated her. She then told the terrible two that she eagerly awaits returning after having her child, so she can seek retribution against the sisters.
CM Punk and Rey MysterioCM Punk def. Rey Mysterio (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Rey Mysterio scored the victory over CM Punk last Monday night in a tag team match, but this week, The Second City Savior found salvation. The leader of The New Nexus, accompanied by powerhouse Mason Ryan, relished exacting revenge on his longtime rival. He avoided the high altitude assault let loose by The Master of the 619 and dropped his nemesis with a jaw-rattling kick to the head.
The Miz attacked Alex Riley  (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Judas, Benedict Arnold … Alex Riley? Michael Cole accused Riley of backstabbing his former boss, The Miz, in no uncertain terms. Last week, after The Cleveland Screamer had unfairly fired his former loyal protégé, Riley unleashed weeks of aggravation on Miz. This week, Cole lambasted the longtime lackey for his actions. When Riley finally tried to silence the arrogant announcer, The Miz ambushed him. Riley quickly turned this to his advantage, however, sending The Awesome One scurrying.
Kelly KellyEve & Kelly Kelly def. The Bella Twins (WATCH | PHOTOS)
When Eve & Kelly Kelly clashed with Divas Champion Brie Bella & her sister, Nikki, one dominant Diva was most assuredly on their minds. After her bizarre breakdown last week, Kharma was scheduled to address the WWE Universe later in the evening, which may have been why she didn’t show up during the match. As a result, Eve & Kelly enjoyed a successful match, in which the gorgeous duo toppled the sinister siblings.
Alberto Del Rio addressed Big Show’s “accident” (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The audacity of Alberto Del Rio is sickening in any language. The Mexican Aristocrat addressed the WWE Universe regarding his assistant, Ricardo Rodriguez, driving over Big Show’s leg last week in one of his boss’ luxury automobiles. Del Rio, as well as Rodriguez, insisted the incident was a mistake. The moneyed Mexican then told The World’s Largest Athlete, who was forced into rehab as a result of his injuries, that he would be sending him a bill to cover the damages to his car.
Dolph Ziggler and Kofi KingstonDolph Ziggler def. U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Dolph Ziggler has been doing his homework  – and it shows. The freshly-blond chameleon has been studying U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston’s matches for the past several weeks before the two faced off in a non-title bout. Thanks to his speed, agility and scouting, Ziggler managed to overcome The Dreadlock Dynamo.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. R-Truth main event match arranged (WATCH | PHOTOS)
John Cena was on to something. The WWE Champion asked R-Truth if he’d had a traumatic childhood experience with somebody named “Jimmy.” After all, the furious Superstar continues to blame all the “little Jimmys” in the WWE Universe for not getting more title opportunities. The Champ was also on Truth’s hit list. After demolishing a merchandise stand featuring Cena T-shirts, hats and programs, Truth emerged in the arena and harassed various attendees wearing Cena merchandise and spouting off about the “conspiracy” against him.
The Champ had seen enough. He confronted his former friend and challenged him to a match. Truth accepted, and the anonymous Raw General Manager made it official.
During his tirade at the top of the show, Raw experienced technical difficulties, which Truth believed was no accident. Later, he tweeted: “ You people see what I mean? I speak the TRUTH and WWE audio goes out! Conspiracy!! WWE has been conspiring and tonight was proof!”

WWE SMACKDOWN results 27th May, 2011

Spokane, WA – Five days after Randy Orton crushed Christian’s dream of regaining the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Over the Limit, Sheamus battled to the front of the pack, capturing an opportunity at WWE’s Apex Predator’s World Title.
Sheamus became the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Christian, Mark Henry and Sheamus clashed in a Triple Threat Match for the right to face Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. But, when Henry opted to shove the observing Orton at ringside, The Viper jumped into the squared circle and delivered a devastating RKO to The World’s Strongest Man. In doing so, he inadvertently distracted the referee, preventing Christian from getting the three-count on Sheamus. Before Captain Charisma could regroup, the reinvigorated Celtic Warrior leveled him with a big boot, covering him for the huge victory.

As a result of the whirlwind battle, Orton will put his title on the line against two-time former WWE Champion Sheamus next week on SmackDown.
Alicia Fox & Tamina def. A.J. & Kaitlyn (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With Natalya in their corner, WWE NXT alumni A.J. and Kaitlyn reunited in Divas tag team action. Despite a tough effort by the battling beauties, “A-Fox” ultimately triumphed over Kaitlyn – utilizing a high-octane scissor kick made famous by WWE Legend and SmackDown color commentator, Booker T.
Booker T poked fun at Michael Cole (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Four days after Michael Cole made a grand apology on Monday Night Raw for his despicable actions in recent months, Booker T called him into the ring. The former World Champion took great pleasure ridiculing the uncharacteristically humble announcer, displaying a picture of Cole kissing Jerry Lawler’s barbecue sauce covered feet at WWE Over the Limit and leading the WWE Universe in a “kiss my feet” chant.
Kane def. The Great Khali (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Already in a “nasty” mood over losing the WWE Tag Team Titles, and the injuries sustained by his tag team partner Big Show four days earlier on Monday Night Raw, The Big Red Monster overcame The Great Khali in an all-out “Monster's Brawl,” unleashing a vicious attack on his gigantic foe from the top rope.

Afterward, Jinder Mahal emerged, admonishing the defeated Khali in Punjabi before once again slapping him. When Mahal and Ranjin Singh got in each others’ faces, Khali stepped in. Then, without warning, Khali put the Vise Grip on his own brother. After leaving Singh completely incapacitated, Khali shocked the WWE Universe by leaving the ring with Mahal.
Ezekiel Jackson def. Heath Slater by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After Jackson put Heath Slater in the painful backbreaker, Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel stormed down to ringside to save him, drawing the disqualification. But, “The Personification of Domination” held his ground in a powerful fashion, taking out all three of his former Corre cohorts.
Daniel Bryan def. Cody Rhodes (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Countering the Cross Rhodes at the last second, Daniel Bryan forced Cody Rhodes to tap-out to the Lebell Lock. Moments after the bell, Bryan was blind-sided by his bitter foe. After punishing his wartorn target with a massive assault that culminated in the Cross Rhodes, Rhodes added insult to injury by putting a paper bag on the fallen Superstar’s head.
Sin Cara def. Chavo Guerrero  (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Following his loss to Sin Cara at WWE Over the Limit five days ago, Chavo Guerrero demanded a rematch. Despite another strong effort by the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior,” his masked adversary once again triumphed, using his extreme athleticism to drive Chavo’s head to the canvas with incredible force.
SmackDown GM Theodore Long made a Triple Threat No. 1 Contender’s Match (PHOTOS)
After their epic championship showdown at WWE Over the Limit, Christian congratulated Randy Orton on his victory and asked him for another rematch. When Sheamus and Mark Henry took issue, Teddy Long came forth to lay down the law. Listening to the WWE Universe – who insisted in one voice that Christian still deserved a title opportunity – the SmackDown GM declared that the three challengers would battle it out in a Triple Threat main event to see who would face The Viper.

WWE RAW results 23rd May, 2011

PORTLAND, Ore. – One night after WWE Over the Limit, several Superstars stepped over the line. It was a night that witnessed an “accidental” run down, a shocking beatdown and one of the most bizarre meltdowns in WWE history.
WWE Champion John Cena & Rey Mysterio def. CM Punk & R-Truth (WATCH | PHOTOS)
WWE Champion John Cena was clearly pained a night after suffering one of the worst pummelings of his career. Fresh off an “I Quit” Match against The Miz at WWE Over the Limit, The Champ was tapped to join Rey Mysterio in a tag team match against CM Punk & R-Truth with Bret Hart acting as special guest referee.
Despite a hard-charging effort by both Truth and his pious partner, Cena refused to let his battered and bruised body lie still. The Champ kicked out of sure pins and fought back with dogged determination. But even Cena’s steel-belted body has its limits. It would be up to WWE’s Littlest Big Man to carry the day for his team – a tall order he would fill with Herculian effort.
Rey capitalized on his elusive build and high-flying frame to hobble both Truth & Punk within seconds of one another. He then nailed Punk with a 619, but Hart wasn’t about to let him have all the fun. The WWE Hall of Famer, fed up with Punk’s in-ring antics, belted The Second City Savior across the jaw and locked him in the Sharpshooter, allowing Rey to pin his shoulders for the victory.
Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyreU.S. Champion Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre (WATCH | PHOTOS | PHOTOS OF KOFI'S NEW GEAR)
Kofi Kingston never looked so good. The Dreadlock Dynamo worked through a painful leg injury he suffered early in the match and landed a litany of jaw-dropping jumps and a series of shut-your-mouth strikes in his victorious match against Drew McIntyre. There was something more, though. Kofi sported yellow, spider-themed trunks and kickpads created by six-year old Luke M. of Alberta, Canada, who won the WWE Kids Magazine's first-ever “Draw a Superstar’s Gear” contest. Awesome job, Luke!
Eight-Diva Tag Team Match ended in a No Contest (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Before the Eight-Diva Tag Team Match could conclude, Kharma underwent the Charlie Sheen of meltdowns. As Kelly Kelly, Eve, Beth Phoenix & Gail Kim clashed with The Bella Twins, Maryse & Melina, Kharma’s entrance music dropped, freezing her fellow Divas in fear.
As the braided behemoth slid into the ring, her eight fellow Divas lined up on the opposite side of the canvas. Rather than chaos, however, there was collapse. Kharma unexpectedly dropped to her knees and began balling uncontrollably.
Miz and Alex RileyThe Miz fired his assistant, Alex Riley, who then attacked his former boss (WATCH | PHOTOS)
And you think you’ve got a bad boss? After all Alex Riley’s done for The Miz, the guy deserves a raise. Instead, he received nothing but contempt in the wake of his boss’ loss to WWE Champion John Cena at WWE Over the Limit. The Cleveland Screamer angrily placed the blame for his loss at Riley’s feet, insulting him and asking the anonymous Raw GM for another title match.
When he was denied, Miz took his frustration out on Riley, firing him with extreme prejudice. A-Ry could only take so much unwarranted grief until, finally, he snapped. After Miz canned him, Riley unleashed weeks of pent-up rage against his former boss, attacking him and leaving him shamed in the ring. Disgruntled? Ya' think?
Michael Cole apologized (WATCH)
With rat tail tucked squarely between his legs, Michael Cole skulked down the entrance ramp to the announce table. He offered his humble apologies to his broadcast colleagues, including Jerry Lawler, just one night after losing to the WWE Hall of Famer in a Kiss My Foot Match at WWE Over the Limit. He also promised a more professional attitude and an end to the Cole Mine.
Jack Swagger def. Evan Bourne (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Nobody likes a sore winner, and Evan Bourne is no exception. "Air" Bourne faced off against Jack Swagger and proved he wasn’t about to let a little height advantage deter him. He went straight at The All-American American, nailing a bull’s-eye onto Swagger’s midsection. Michael Cole’s former trainer, however, would not be denied. After winning, The All-American American took a condescending victory lap, prompting Bourne to knock his egotistical opponent out of the ring.
Ricardo Rodriguez drove one of Alberto Del Rio’s cars into Big Show (WATCH)
After watching Big Show & Kane lose their WWE Tag Team Titles to David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty, Alberto Del Rio just couldn’t help himself. The Mexican Aristocrat had to rub the loss in their faces. His attitude - and a slap - prompted Big Show to give chase, but when The World’s Largest Athlete rounded a corner in the parking lot, Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez “accidentally” ran over his leg with one of his boss’ luxury autos.
New NexusDavid Otunga & Michael McGillicutty def. WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Look out below! WWE’s towering terrors have fallen. Thanks to shifty interference by New Nexus leader CM Punk, WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane dropped the titles to David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty.
Their title reign kicks off just one night after Punk & Mason Ryan failed to capture the titles themselves at WWE Over the Limit. Prior to that bout, Big Show & Kane staged a preemptive strike on the New Nexus, leveling Otunga and McGillicutty in the locker room. In retaliation, Ryan distracted the referee while The Second City Savior, who had been on commentary, kicked Big Show in the back of the head to fell the two redwoods and help his disciples capture the prestigious titles.
Main event match arranged with Bret Hart as special referee  (PHOTOS)
R-Truth demonstrated once again that the voices in his head have cranked up the volume. Apparently, though, they’re still screaming the same tune. The conspiracy nut continues to blame, well, just about everybody but himself for him not receiving a WWE Title opportunity.
This week, he trained his crosshairs on two of WWE’s most beloved Superstars, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart and John Cena.
The Excellence of Execution explained that he showed up during last night’s Kiss My Foot Match at WWE Over the Limit to make sure Michael Cole experienced “the agony of de-feet.” Truth rudely interrupted the WWE Hall of Famer to spout off about all the “little Jimmys” in the crowd and refusing to kow-tow to them anymore.
The Superstar then took a left turn into Rage Town when WWE Champion John Cena tried to talk sense into his old friend. When Truth finally finished spitting about how he never liked The Champ, Raw’s anonymous General Manager arranged the night’s main event, a tag team bout pitting Cena & Rey Mysterio against Truth & CM Punk with Hart acting as special guest referee.

World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton def. Mark Henry by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was holding his own against The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry – until Sheamus decided to make a statement with a ruthless attack. When Jimmy Uso stuck his nose in things, he too felt the destructive force of the Khali Chop. (WATCH: “Has The Great Khali gone soft?”)
Ted DiBiase def. Trent Barreta (WATCH | PHOTOS)
One week after being beaten in a match against Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase was surprisingly accompanied to the ring by the masked Superstar. WWE RAW results 16th May, 2011

SAN ANTONIO – Remember the Alamo! That famous slogan was echoed throughout this Texas city after the vicious battles there in 1836. Nearly 200 years later, people are bound to remember San Antonio for a series of different battles, the ones leading up to WWE Over the Limit in just six days.
WWE Champion John Cena def. Jack Swagger (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS)
When it comes to “I Quit” Matches, WWE Champion John Cena has a vocabulary consisting of just one word: “No.” The Miz realizes that fact and continues to try to figure a way to beat The Champ at WWE Over the Limit in just such a bout.
Earlier in the evening, Miz was allowed to choose both a match stipulation and an opponent for Cena in the night’s main event match and leveraged that to his advantage. The Cleveland Screamer chose a No Holds Barred Match and Jack Swagger as Cena’s opponent. The former World Heavyweight Champion got dirty right away, ambushing The Champ from behind. The All-American American would eventually pay for the ambush, though, when Cena snapped on an STF.
Despite Cena winning the bout, Miz was still swift to talk trash. He and hislackey, Alex Riley, attacked Cena, but The Champ pushed through the pain and chased the two from the ring, vowing that he will never utter the words “I quit.”
McGillicutty and KaneDavid Otunga & Michael McGillicutty def. WWE Tag Team Champion Big Show & Kane (WATCH | PHOTOS)
It would have been like trying tear down a brick wall with a plastic fork. David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty were sent by CM Punk to dismantle WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane in a non-title match. Although their chances were scant, The Second City Savior evened the odds.
As The Big Red Monster prepared to unleash fury, the leader of the New Nexus slyly dropped Kane with a well-timed kick to the back of the head from the ring apron. The blow allowed McGillicutty to pin the WWE Tag Team Champion for the victory.
If Punk can beat the WWE Tag Team Champions without even competing, how difficult will it be for him to do it again when in a match with New Nexus powerhouse as his partner on Sunday in Seattle? For tickets to the event, click here.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler signed match contract for WWE Over the Limit (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Michael Cole may want to invest in extra mouthwash. The “rat bastard” announcer signed a match contract with his rival Jerry Lawler for this Sunday’s WWE Over the Limit. After they had each signed, though, Cole revealed that he’d dropped in a stipulation making the contest a Kiss My Foot Match.
Unfortunately for Cole, this was before he’d ticked off his secret weapon, trainer Jack Swagger. The All-American American had been allied with Cole until the cheese-eating announcer hinted Swagger was his “sidekick.” That was enough to provoke the former World Heavyweight Champion to storm off and leave the weasely announcer wallowing with his foot in his mouth. He may want to get used to the taste.
R-Truth and Rey MysterioRey Mysterio def. Alberto Del Rio by Disqualification; WWE Over the Limit Match arranged
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Truth is out there. Unfortunately for Rey Mysterio, it can also be pretty crafty at times. After calling out R-Truth for ambushing him last week, Mysterio waited in vain for the former rapper to show. Instead, Alberto Del Rio confronted The Master of the 619, and the two agreed to settle their vast differences in the ring.
During the bout, however, Truth finally surfaced and distracted Mysterio. When Rey finally got back on track, he nearly nailed The Mexican Aristocrat with a 619 until Del Rio’s personal ring announcer interfered, allowing Rey to win by disqualification.
After the match, Truth slid into the ring and attacked WWE’s Ultimate Underdog. The former rapping Superstar then grabbed a mic and accepted Mysterio’s earlier challenge to face off at WWE Over the Limit this Sunday in Seattle.
Kelly Kelly def. WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kelly Kelly must have realized you can run for only so long. After weeks of avoiding the onslaught of Kharma, the beautiful blond finally confronted her fears. After she bested Brie Bella in a non-title bout, Kelly was leveled by a frustrated Brie and her sister, Nikki.
Just then, the familiar notes of Kharma’s entrance theme wafted through the AT&T Center like an ominous fog. When the braided behemoth entered the ring, The Bellas attacked. Despite their efforts, though, Kharma proved unrelenting and demolished Nikki as her sister scurried off. She then approached the object of her attention. Rather than pummel Kelly, however, Kharma simply flipped her blonde locks, flicked her forehead and laughed like a woman possessed before walking away.
CM Punk CM Punk def. U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Second City Savior vowed to show “leadership by example.” He needed to do something after the embarrassing shellacking he and his New Nexus disciple, Mason Ryan, suffered at the hands of their WWE Over the Limit opponents, WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane.
As a result, The Second City Savior challenged U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston to a non-title match. After prevailing over the impressive Dreadlock Dynamo, Punk announced that the New Nexus were on a road to redemption and vowed that the group will regain its former dominance.
The Miz chosen to arrange the night’s main event (PHOTOS)
You’ve got to hand it to The Miz’s toady, Alex Riley – the guy is nothing if not loyal. One week after having being trapped in the STF compliments of WWE Champion John Cena, Riley was back, interrupting The Champ and heaping praise on his boss.
The WWE Champion and Miz, his adversary in an “I Quit” Match at WWE Over the Limit, stood toe-to-toe. As tensions mounted, Raw’s anonymous General Manager chimed in to announce, via Michael Cole, that, since The Champ got to choose the stipulation for their WWE Over the Limit match, The Cleveland Screamer would get to decide Cena’s opponent in the night’s main event match as well as the match stipulation. Miz grinned and deferred the decisions for later in the evening.

On the same night that the World Heavyweight Championship rematch between Randy Orton and Christian at WWE Over the Limit was announced, the two Superstars found themselves working together in an explosive tag team main event. Just when it looked as if Kane had overcome distractions by The Corre and was set to chokeslam Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater attacked. After giving The Big Red Monster the win by disqualification, his adversaries used their overwhelming numbers to take him down.
Moments later – one week after getting forcefully "excommunicated" from The Corre –  Ezekiel Jackson exploded to the ring, delivering a major onslaught on his former allies before once again succumbing to their 3-on-1 assault. The punishment he endured culminated with Gabriel's 450 Splash.
Michael Cole fed an injured Layla to Kharma  (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Layla informed the WWE Universe that during her match with Michelle McCool at Extreme Rules, she sustained a serious knee injury.
Following Michael Cole's interruption – which he used to talk about his rematch with Jerry Lawler at WWE Over the Limit – the mesmerizing Kharma emerged. Cole proceeded to trip Layla, allowing the monstrous anti-Diva to drive her to the canvas with absolute force. When Kharma focused her attention to the cocky announcer-turned-competitor, however, Cole quickly scrambled back to the safety of his glass fortress.
Sin Cara def. Daniel Bryan (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Before Sin Cara's match with Daniel Bryan could begin, Chavo Guerrero took it upon himself to introduce the newly-drafted masked Superstar as "following in his footsteps." Joining the SmackDown announce team, he repeatedly referred to himself Sin Cara's "mentor."
But, after the high-flyer realized that his win over Bryan came – at least in part – because of a Guerrero distraction, a frustrated Sin Cara confronted the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior." After Guerrero stuck his finger in his chest, the explosive grappler shoved him to the canvas.
Christian geared up to face World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton (WATCH | PHOTOS)
One week after his career-long dream of being the World Heavyweight Champion was destroyed by a sudden title match with Randy Orton, Christian emerged. When Sheamus and Mark Henry both emerged and attacked Captain Charisma, Orton entered to even the odds, later stating that he wanted to face a 100 percent Christian at the fateful pay-per-view in nine days.

WWE RAW results 9th May, 2011

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee - Sometimes destiny and determination are no match for deceit. With the opportunity to be the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title hanging in the balance, The Miz and his sycophantic follower, Alex Riley, weren't taking any chances.
The Miz def. Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat Match; WWE Champion John Cena arranged an “I Quit” Match at Over the Limit (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Alex Riley’s road to redemption just got a little shorter. During The Miz’s Triple Threat Match against Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title, Riley proved invaluable to his boss. Just as it appeared that Mysterio would pin The Mexican Aristocrat for the win, Miz’s boot-licking lackey interfered, pulling Del Rio from the ring.
The intrusion allowed The Miz to triumph, propelling him into a WWE Title Match against John Cena at Over the Limit. Upon hearing the news, The Champ addressed the WWE Universe, and The Cleveland Screamer in particular, explaining that he had decided to make their title match in two weeks an “I Quit” Match.
Then, when tensions had seemed to settle, R-Truth flew into the ring and attacked an unsuspecting Mysterio, declaring, "Now, that's what's up!"
Jack SwaggerU.S. Champion Kofi Kingston def. Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Jerry Lawler has another chance to shut up the mouthy menace of Michael Cole. During a title match pitting U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston against Jack Swagger, the WWE Hall of Famer provoked Cole and his trainer, Swagger, into accepting a match challenge he issued earlier in the evening.
Lawler distracted The All-American American, allowing Kingston to retain. Afterward, the WWE Hall of Famer attacked Swagger and moved on with determination to his fellow announcer. As Swagger defended Cole and ushered him up the entrance ramp, he took it upon himself to accept Lawler’s challenge.
Jerry Lawler challenged Michael Cole to a match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Everybody knows, you don’t talk about another man’s momma. For Michael Cole, however, the rules of decorum never seem to apply. The cheese-eating announcer proclaimed his ring “retirement” before taunting his favorite target, Jerry Lawler. As a result, the WWE Hall of Famer confronted Cole and challenged him to another match – raising the stakes considerably. King told his nemesis that were he to lose, he would personally induct Cole into the WWE Hall of Fame himself and even give him his Hall of Fame ring. For his part, the weasely announcer refused the test and scurried back into his Cole Mine. Eventually, Cole's trainer Jack Swagger ambushed Lawler, leaving him hurting on the arena floor.
John Cena and Alex RileyWWE Champion John Cena def. Alex Riley (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Is there nothing Alex Riley won’t do to kiss up to The Miz? After The Cleveland Screamer blamed him for blowing his WWE Title opportunity last week, Riley took it upon himself to challenge WWE Champion John Cena  to a non-title match. Yikes!
After disposing of his opponent, The Champ spotted Miz approaching. As if to send a clear – and agonizing – message, Cena administered several Attitude Adjustments to Miz’s lackey before locking on an excruciating STF.
Dolph Ziggler def. Santino Marella (WATCH | PHOTOS)
With his bothersome business associate, Vickie Guerrero, cheering him on, Dolph Ziggler tackled the challenge of Santino Marella. With the Italian in the ascendant, the “new and improved” Ziggler easily prevailed and demonstrated just why he could well represent, in the words of Guerrero, “the present and future of WWE.”

Last week, Mason Ryan leveled both WWE Tag Team Champions Kane & Big Show. This week, retribution came in one size: XXXL. As Kane tangled with Ryan in a singles match, his partner attacked The New Nexus ringleader CM Punk as they watched outside the ring. The attack prompted the rest of the New Nexus disciples to converge on The World’s Largest Athlete and his partner.
Having dispensed of Ryan’s Nexus brethren as well, the WWE Tag Team Champions trained their considerable fury on the Welshman and demolished him with a double chokeslam.
Kelly Kelly & Eve def. Divas Champion Brie & Nikki Bella (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Divas division continues to tremble – and with good reason. For the second week running, the braided behemoth Kharma targeted a Diva for punishment. This week, after Kelly Kelly & Eve managed to defeat Divas Champion Brie Bella & her sister Nikki, Kharma beat a path to the ring. Kelly Kelly exited, perhaps wisely, but Eve confronted the Divas’ tormentor. The braided behemoth laid out the Latina lovely before darting from the ring in an attempt to get her hands on Kelly Kelly. After she realized the blond beauty was out of her grasp, she returned to the canvas, where she punished Eve with an utter lack of compassion.
No. 1 Contender's Triple Threat Match arranged (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Three slots, four competitors. Something had to give. And so it was when Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, The Miz and R-Truth each made a strong case as to why they should be the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title against John Cena.
After The Mexican Aristocrat argued about the title being his destiny, The Master of the 619 cut him off at the knees, arguing otherwise. The Awesome One wasn’t about to be excluded, so he, naturally, shot off his mouth, too. Finally, Truth bragged about how he put John Morrison in the hospital with a neck injury in the wake of his attack last week and insisted he get an opportunity as well.
Raw’s anonymous General Manager, however, decided to arrange a Triple Threat Match to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title – and, among the four, the rapping Superstar found himself odd man out.

WWE RAW results 2nd May, 2011

MIAMI – The WWE Universe was clearly in the mood to celebrate. Less than 24 hours after President Barack Obama announced the death of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, it was time to keep those spirits high by celebrating the biggest birthday party in TV history.
The Rock celebrated his birthday with the WWE Universe and surprise guest Mr. McMahon (WATCH: PART 1PART 2 | PHOTOS)
It’s a shame birthdays only come around once a year. With all the cake, candles and chaos, though, memories of The Rock’s celebratory bash should last at least that long.
With the evening going full force, The Great One thanked the fans in his hometown of Miami and the entire WWE Universe for helping him celebrate. He was then joined by surprise guest Mr. McMahon, who offered some uncharacteristically kind words before unspooling a video tribute to The Rock. Then Grammy-award winning recording artist Mya was introduced and led the crowd in a rendition of “Happy Birthday."
Celebrities offered shout-outs to The Rock (WATCH | PHOTOS)
None other than Samuel L. Jackson, Steve Carrell, Ellen DeGeneres, Dan Marino, Regis & Kelly, Miami Heat players LeBron James and Dwayne Wade and many more celebrities joined WWE Superstars in showing their love for The Rock throughout the course of the evening by offering best wishes to the birthday boy.
WWE Tag Team Champion Kane def. Mason Ryan by Disqualfication (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Mason Ryan is for real. When The New Nexus powerhouse faced off against WWE Tag Team Champion Kane, he manhandled The Big Red Machine. Not that Kane was about to cede any ground – he banged right back. That is, until Ryan’s fellow Nexi bulldozed into the ring and ambushed him.
After the match, Ryan continued to crush his opponent. When Kane’s partner, Big Show, attempted a rescue, The New Nexus softened him up and allowed their behemoth to finish him off with a spear. Afterward, Ryan broke from the group and exited up the entrance ramp alone.
Rey Mysterio & U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Raw roster has been put on notice. One week after being drafted to the red brand, Rey Mysterio showed why he’s still WWE’s littlest big man. The Master of the 619 teamed with new United States Champion Kofi Kingston to tackle Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger. With the newly-christened U.S. Champion in his corner, Mysterio pitted altitude against attitude and emerged the winner by pinning his Scottish opponent.
Having observed from ringside, Alberto Del Rio decided it was time for him to make an impression. The Mexican Aristocrat attempted to ambush his masked countryman, but Rey fended off his attack.
John Cena and The MizWWE Champion John Cena def. The Miz by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
After losing his precious title at Extreme Rules to newly crowned WWE Champion John Cena, The Miz was served up a shot at redemption. Unfortunately for him, he whiffed. The night before, during his Triple Threat Steel Cage Match, The Cleveland Screamer succumbed to The Champ, who pinned him for the victory. Tonight, there would be no pin.
Instead, after a give-and-take bout, Miz’s lackey, Alex Riley, handed his boss the WWE Championship while the referee was distracted. The Awesome One used it to clobber his rival, hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale and secure a pin. But that wouldn’t be the last of it.
The ref noticed the title already in the ring and quickly realized what had transpired. As a result, he disqualified Miz, allowing The Champ to retain.
In the locker room area, Miz went on to chastise his lackey for interfering, explaining that he is not a quitter, and that he will never quit in his life. So, take that, A-Ry!
Kharma Kelly Kelly vs. Maryse ended in a No Contest; Kharma attacked (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kharma is a … well, let’s just say you don’t want to mess with her. In the midst of a battling Kelly Kelly, Maryse was paid a visit by WWE’s newest Diva. The intimidating colossus interrupted the match and administered a punishing move to Maryse with a chilling lack of compassion. As she did, Kelly Kelly was left to watch in horror, no doubt wondering if she, too, will be forced to endure the wrath of Kharma.
R-Truth attacked John Morrison (WATCH | PHOTOS)
R-Truth has officially lost the plot. One night after ranting about conspiracy theories and personal vendettas, the suspicious Superstar ambushed John Morrison just prior to their scheduled match.
As officials assisted JoMo to the locker room area, Truth’s paranoia propelled him to savagely attack Morrison again, leaving him immobile on the entrance ramp.
Michael Cole and The RockThe Rock kicked off the biggest birthday party in TV history (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS)
If anyone knows how to light up a crowd it’s The Rock. After all, you don’t earn the nickname The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment by being a dim bulb. Prior to kicking off his birthday celebration, though, The Rock, as well as the rest of the audience, took time to acknowledge the events of the past 24 hours. As Lilian Garcia sang a moving rendition of the National Anthem, everyone in the American Airlines Arena reflected on the historic news that United States military personnel had killed Osama bin Laden nearly 10 years after the al Queda leader had coordinated the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
With the reassuring news buoying the festivities, The Great One led his hometown in a poignant rendition of the Pledge of Allegiance. He then encouraged them to have fun and celebrate his birthday in high style. Unfortunately, there’s always one party pooper in the crowd.
Michael Cole, on behalf of the anonymous Raw General Manager, interrupted The Rock as he addressed his frenzied fans. After ripping on Cole, The Brahma Bull invited him into the ring so that he might “apologize.” The cheese-eating announcer was then greeted with a Rock Bottom and The People’s Elbow.
When Rock exited to the roars of an appreciative crowd, he was joined by dancers from the Miami Heat basketball team and by rapper Pitbull! Time to par-tay!
